  • Coordinates outpatient and inpatient schedules and ensures timely workflow.
  • Maintains equipment cleanliness and lab accreditation records, addresses issues promptly.
  • Collaborates with physicians and adheres to department policies and standards.
  • Completes continuing education and performs other duties as directed.

What You'll Need:
  • Graduate of an accredited vascular ultrasound program required
  • Associate's Degree or completion of a 2-year approved Vascular Ultrasound Program preferred
  • Registered & Certified withARDMS or RVT Valid CPR Certification Required - BLS Completion of 1-week sterile technique training course to be provided by the OR education coordinator upon hire.
Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
  • Demonstrates full competency in peripheral vascular studies, maintains daily schedules, and ensures lab accreditation.
  • Provides age-specific patient education, operates lab equipment competently to minimize repeat studies, and accurately distinguishes normal from abnormal data.
  • Reviews patient history, assesses appropriate information, and documents findings accurately.
  • Writes clear preliminary reports, ensuring immediate notification for necessary medical treatment.
  • Coordinates work schedules efficiently, both outpatient and inpatient, with no reported delays.
  • Maintains lab accreditation records and equipment cleanliness, promptly addressing equipment issues.
  • Contacts physicians for clarification as needed, upholds professional relationships, practices teamwork, and adheres to department rules and Standards of Behavior.
  • Completes necessary continuing education, performs other assigned duties as directed by management.

The Vascular Ultrasound work environment is a combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings, featuring well-lit, well-ventilated spaces with ample room, but it entails regular exposure to diseases, medicinal preparations, and typical clinic conditions.

Pay Range $34.90 - $52.35
