Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Sonographer PRN to join our Radiology team. You will operate ultrasound equipment, capture high-quality images, and send studies to PACS, supporting patient care across campus.

Qualified candidates will have Basic Life Support, a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credential, and an associate degree or equivalent. You may work at Ocala Regional Hospital, West Marion Community Hospital or The Free Standing Emergency Department.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate, or Certificate

Responsibilities

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs duties directly involved in a variety of technical procedures for the purpose of detecting pathology. Operates the ultrasound equipment and sends images to PACS. Assists in the daily operation of the Radiology Department. Uses sterile technique when necessary and assists the radiologist in all invasive procedures. May be required to work at Ocala Regional Hospital, West Marion Community Hospital, or The Free Standing Emergency Department.
