Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate OR Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification required (within six (6) months of graduation from an accredited program, within one (1) year of graduation from a non-accredited program).
Ultrasound Scans. Perform abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, and/or transcranial Doppler ultrasound scans; produce ultrasound images and obtain all required measurements; assist attending physicians with invasive procedures under sonographic guidance. Documentation. Note performance of scans in patient charts and complete preliminary reporting; phone preliminary reports into doctors’ offices or nursing floors at the request of the Radiologist.
For Radiology sites/affiliates with ACR accreditation, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required (within 6 months of graduation from Commission on Accreditation of Allied Programs (CAAHEP), or within 18 months of graduation from a non-accredited program). For Neurovascular & Vascular, the RDMS is not required.

Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee’s physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.
PAY RANGE: $35.00 - $47.00 CITY: Clifton Springs POSTAL CODE: 14432 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
