Job summary

TriState Health in Clarkston, WA, is seeking a Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services. You will perform medical sonograms, exercise professional judgment in procedures, and deliver safe patient care.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 12 months of ultrasound education/experience, ARDMS certification (or in process, within 1 year) and BLS/CPR at hire or orientation. 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.

Job description

Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, the Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech; performs medical sonograms, exercises professional judgment in performance procedures and provides safe patient care.

Education and Training:

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Minimum of 12 months of continuing education or practical experience in ultrasound

Licensures/ Certifications:

• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or in process of obtaining certification, must be obtained within 1 year.
• Current American Heart Association's BLS/CPR certification on hire or within orientation period

Experience:

• 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferred

Skills and Abilities:

• Competent in the use of a computer and computer systems
• Retirement - 403(b) with matching contributions
