Job summary

Piedmont Community Imaging is seeking a skilled Sonographer to provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in an outpatient setting in Columbus, GA. You will perform OB, abdominal or general studies, ensuring patient comfort and efficient exams.

The role requires ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification, RVT or eligibility, and state licensure where required. 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification required.
• RVT certification required on hire or within one year.
• Must meet state licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in an outpatient imaging setting.
• Perform OB, abdominal or general ultrasound studies with focus on safety and efficiency.
• Ensure patient comfort and maintain exceptional patient care throughout visits.

Sonographer - Full-Time

As a Sonographer, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. You’ll use your experience and expertise to perform Ultrasound exams safely and efficiently while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced technologist who enjoys working in an outpatient imaging environment and takes pride in providing excellent patient care.

Job Details:

• Position Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Location: Outpatient Imaging Center in Columbus, GA @ 2040 10th Avenue

Requirements

Education:

• Must be a graduate of an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

License/Certification Requirements:

• Must be registered through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or ARRT (S).
• OB, Abdominal, or General certification is required upon hire.
• RVT certification is required upon hire or obtained within one year of hire.
• Must meet the applicable state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.
