Job summary

Piedmont Community Imaging in Columbus, GA is seeking a skilled Sonographer to provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in our outpatient imaging center. This full-time role offers a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with a patient-focused environment and commitment to exceptional care.

Must be ARDMS or ARRT(S) registered, with OB, Abdominal, or General certification, and RVT pending or obtained within a year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification required upon hire.
• OB, Abdominal or General certification required upon hire.
• RVT certification required upon hire or obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience during outpatient visits.
• Perform exams safely and efficiently in a collegial imaging team.

Education

Graduate of approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification

Sonographer - Full-Time

Position Summary:

As a Sonographer, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. You'll use your experience and expertise to perform Ultrasound exams safely and efficiently while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced technologist who enjoys working in an outpatient imaging environment and takes pride in providing excellent patient care.

Job Details:

• Position Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Location: Outpatient Imaging Center in Columbus, GA @ 2040 10th Avenue

Education:

• Must be a graduate of an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

License/Certification Requirements:

• Must be registered through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or ARRT (S).

• RVT certification is required upon hire or obtained within one year of hire.
• Must meet the applicable state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.
