Job summary

Piedmont Community Imaging is seeking a Sonographer for a PRN role at our brand new outpatient imaging center in Marietta, GA (opened Summer 2026). You will perform ultrasound exams and ensure patient comfort while maintaining high-quality imaging. ARDMS/ARRT(S) certification and RVT are required upon hire.

Join a growing team with flexible shifts, potential evening/weekend coverage, and standard weekday hours as volumes grow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Registered through ARDMS or ARRT(S).
• OB/Abdominal or General certification required upon hire.
• RVT certification required upon hire.
• Must meet state licensure requirements where practicing.

Brand new outpatient imaging center | Join our growing Team!

Position Summary:

As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. You’ll use your experience and expertise to perform Ultrasound exams safely and efficiently, while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This PRN opportunity is ideal if you’re an experienced technologist who enjoys flexibility and is comfortable working as needed in an outpatient imaging environment.

Job Details:

• Position Status: PRN
• Schedule: As needed for staffing coverage. Our center is currently operating primarily during standard weekday hours, with plans to expand operating hours to include weekday evenings and weekends as volume grows.
• Location: Brand new outpatient imaging center in Marietta, GA opened in Summer 2026.
• Requirements: RVT certification is required for this position.

Requirements

Education:

• Must be a graduate of an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

License/Certification Requirements:

• Must be registered through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or ARRT (S).
• OB, Abdominal, or General certification is required upon hire.
• RVT certification is required upon hire.
• Must meet the applicable state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.
