Job summary

HealthPartners seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging and engage with patients, physicians, and staff professionally. The role includes maintaining equipment and supporting Maternal Fetal Medicine at outreach sites as needed.

Eligible candidates should have ARDMS registration or registry eligibility, Fetal Nuchal Translucency CLEAR and Fetal Echocardiogram certifications, and current CPR skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Medical Sonography or equivalent.
• Must be ARDMS registered or registry eligible.
• Fetal Nuchal Translucency, Cervical Length review (CLEAR) and Fetal Echocardiogram certification required.
• Must maintain current CPR skills.

Job description

Position Summary:

Performs high quality and accurate diagnostic ultrasound images. Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Maintains ultrasound equipment in optimum working condition. Applies knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures, and proper equipment utilization to maximize safety in the work environment. The team member will be expected to support Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) by working at outreach locations as needed.

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday - 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM
• 36 hrs weekly / 0.9 FTE

Required Qualifications:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Medical Sonography or equivalent
  • Must be willing to participate in continuing education to remain current on technical advances as they occur.
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • Must be registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Fetal Nuchal Translucency, Cervical Length review (CLEAR) and Fetal Echocardiogram certification required.
  • Must maintain current CPR skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional specialized training or at least one year of ultrasound experience preferred.
