Schedules and obtains history from patients. Evaluates the appropriateness of requested exams and assist radiologists. Maintains knowledge of equipment and instruments/supplies pertinent to high quality exams. Provides effective internal and external patient communication consistent with age and mental capacity.**JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS**Type: PRN, as neededEducation:- RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography-ARDMS) required – if registry not currently held, employee must be registered within one year as condition of continued employment. - Abdomen (ABD) or Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) registries as provided by the ARDMS required within one year of employment.
