Job Description

Overview

Under general supervision, performs routine and specialized cardiac sonographic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute basic clinical competence in cardiac sonography across all locations and patient types, selecting appropriate equipment and technical factors, and providing care suitable for the patient's age.
2. Apply knowledge of cardiac sonography principles, including anatomy, physiology, physics, positioning, and patient care. Perform high-level disinfecting procedures to meet infection prevention standards and adhere to regulatory compliance standards.
3. Accurately document patient care activities in electronic health records systems.
4. Maintain a safe work environment, manage supplies and inventory, report equipment or environmental issues, and document related problems.
5. Participate actively in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives, and contribute to training and educational activities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Educational Program.

Compensation
