Position Summary:

Responsible for conducting inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms and Doppler flow analysis of the heart and related structures for use by physicians in diagnosing heart disease and conducting heart studies.

Education/Experience:

Requires the knowledge typically acquired through two years of occupationally-specific education or an Associate’s degree in Cardiography, Ultrasound, or a closely related field.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Analytical skills to gather and interpret data in routine situations.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
