Job summary

Midwest Cardiovascular Institute is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform routine and advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures for cardiovascular practices. The role involves obtaining diagnostic images and ensuring optimal quality.

You will review data, record findings for physician review, and stay current with education and certification such as RDCS or RCS. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited ultrasound or related program.
• ARDMS or CCI registry in Cardiac Ultrasound (eligibility considered).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images and identify abnormalities.
• Explains procedures, reviews data, performs exams, and records findings for physician review.
• Maintains certification and keeps up with education and journals.
• Assists with scheduling and ensures patient comfort and safety.
• Creates accurate ultrasound reports in EMR and supports patient flow.
• Maintains a clean work area and ensures equipment is operational.
• Coordinates with engineers and provides training as needed.
• Assists with staffing and other duties to support patient care and goals.

• Stays current with education, technical journals, and maintains certification (RDCS, RCS).
• Assists with scheduling, ensures patient comfort and safety.
• Creates accurate ultrasound reports in the EMR and supports patient flow.
• Maintains a clean work area, ensures equipment is operational, and restocks supplies.
• Coordinates with engineers and provides training as needed.
• Assists with staffing and other duties to support patient care and goals

Compensation:

Pay starting at $34.37.
