Vetted Solutions seeks an experienced diagnostic medical ultrasound technologist in Savannah, GA. You will perform diverse exams, verify orders, obtain histories, and prepare equipment while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.

You will work independently with adherence to protocols for contrast media and sterile technique. The role emphasizes safety, image quality, and timely study transmission to PACS and RIS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; diagnostic medical sonography degree preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT-S certification and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years ultrasound experience in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to operate all ultrasound equipment, perform high-risk exams, and follow safety protocols.
• Flexibility, dependability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performing a wide range of ultrasound exams, including vascular and pediatric procedures, with proper technique and quality assurance.
• Verifying patient identity, following safety and infection control policies, and responding to emergency situations.
• Providing clear communication to patients and staff, explaining procedures, and addressing questions using AIDET principles.
• Ensuring imaging quality, operating and maintaining equipment, and timely sending studies to PACS and RIS systems.
