Job summary

A diagnostic imaging company located in Ocala, FL is seeking an experienced Sonographer. In this role, you will perform sonographic procedures and provide quality diagnostic imaging while collaborating closely with physician partners. Ideal candidates have a CAAHEP-accredited education and RDMS certification with an OB/GYN specialty. This is a PRN position with flexible scheduling and no weekends. Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP‑accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty.
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within assigned area.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.

What You’ll Do

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule‑out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CME’s
• Other duties assigned by managers

Is This You?

• Graduate of a CAAHEP‑accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

Do You Score Any Bonus Points?

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• 1+ years high‑risk OB and/or MFM sonography experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Sonography or related field of study

Risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens: Category 1 – Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
