Job summary

Favorite Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for a part-time weekend overnight position at an academic medical center. The role involves performing general and vascular ultrasound studies, supporting physicians with advanced imaging, and delivering compassionate patient-centered care.

The schedule is Saturday–Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, totaling 24 hours per week, with competitive pay of $35–$55 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Requirements include graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
• ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) certification within 12 months of hire.
• RVT/VT certification within 12 months of hire.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic and specialized ultrasound imaging.
• Perform general and vascular studies to support physicians with advanced imaging.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care across the lifespan.
• Assist with patient positioning and safety during exams.

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – Weekend/Alternative Schedule

Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week (Saturday–Sunday), 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Hours: 24 hours per week

Compensation: $35/hr - $55/hr. + $5,000 Sign on bonus

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Vascular and General) to perform high-quality diagnostic and specialized ultrasound imaging in an academic medical center environment. The role involves performing general and vascular studies, supporting physicians with advanced imaging procedures, and providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
• ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) certification upon hire or within 12 months
• RVT/VT certification upon hire or within 12 months
• Current BCLS certification
• Strong communication, teamwork, and independent working skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioning
• Computer proficiency and ability to work with patients across the lifespan

Preferred: Experience or interest in vascular imaging, teaching/mentoring, or quality improvement.
