Job summary

Novant Health Deep River in Kernersville, NC seeks an OBGYN Sonographer for part-time 24 hours weekly. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an OBGYN setting, obtain high-quality images, and provide compassionate patient care.

Must have HS diploma, ARDMS/ARRT registry, 1 year experience preferred; ARDMS cert within first year; strong communication and ability to work independently; occasional travel to High Point location may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ARDMS or ARRT registry is required; must be eligible for registry and complete within 12 months of hire.
• One year experience in Sonography is preferred.
• ARRT RT(S) or ARDMS certified or Board eligible, required; ARDMS certification within first year of employment is required.
• Good communication, ability to work alone in diagnostic rooms, basic computer skills.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate OBGYN Sonographer to join our team and provide high-quality ultrasound imaging and patient care. This position is ideal for an experienced sonographer or a new graduate looking to begin their career in women’s health and OBGYN imaging

What You'll Do

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an OBGYN setting.
• Obtain high-quality images to assist providers with diagnosis and treatment.

What We're Looking For

• Education:High School Diploma or GED, required.

• Experience:One year experience in Sonography, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • ARRT RT(S) or ARDMS certified or Board eligible, required.
  • ARDMS certified within first year of employment, required.
• Additional Skills Required:Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms; working knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipment, able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient served. Has ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Basic computer skills.
