SUMMARY

As a Solutions Support Engineer, you will be a part of a global team responsible for providing an outstanding technical support experience. In this role, you will troubleshoot technical problems for customers through debugging, networking, system administration, updating documentation, and creating solutions for customers. You will also scale our support capabilities using coding and scripting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide technical customer support within the Wiz product
  • Own, troubleshoot, and resolve customer technical issues using collaboration, troubleshooting best practices, and transparency within and across teams
  • Identify cases requiring escalation (technical or strategic)
  • Create, maintain, and coordinate incident management requests to product or engineering teams
  • Design and implement scalable solutions through automation
  • Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours, holiday, and weekend support

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience and certifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in customer support, technical support, system administration, or related roles
  • At least 1+ year experience with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience reading or debugging code in Java, Python, Shell, JavaScript, or JSON
  • Proficiency with command-line tools and Linux environments
  • Experience with Kubernetes, virtualization, hybrid cloud, security systems, monitoring, and storage
  • Familiarity with security frameworks or tools
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Fast learner, curious, and passionate about technology

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with DevOps tools
  • Familiarity with REST APIs or GraphQL
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, DNS)
  • Understanding networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, Load Balancing)
  • Knowledge of relational databases
