Summary

As a Solutions Support Engineer, you will be part of a global team responsible for providing an outstanding technical support experience. In this role, you will troubleshoot technical problems for customers, involving debugging, networking, system administration, updating documentation, and creating solutions for customers while scaling our support using coding and scripting.

What You’ll Do
  1. Provide technical customer support within the Wiz product.
  2. Own, troubleshoot, and resolve customer technical issues using collaboration, troubleshooting best practices, and transparency.
  3. Identify cases requiring escalation (technical or strategic).
  4. Create, maintain, and coordinate incident management requests to product or engineering teams.
  5. Design and implement solutions that scale support through automation.
  6. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, holiday, and weekend support.
What You’ll Bring
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience and certifications.
  2. 5+ years of hands-on experience in customer support, technical support, system administration, or related roles.
  3. At least 1+ year experience with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  4. Proficiency with command-line tools and Linux environments.
  5. Experience with Kubernetes, virtualization, hybrid cloud, cloud security, monitoring, and storage.
  6. Familiarity with security frameworks or tools.
  7. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  8. Fast learner with curiosity and a love for technology.
  9. Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday, 9am - 6pm PT.
Nice to Have
  1. Experience with DevOps technologies.
  2. Familiarity with REST APIs or GraphQL.
  3. Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, DNS).
  4. Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, Load Balancing).
  5. Understanding of relational databases.

Candidates must meet EAR part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definitions of a U.S. person and reside in the contiguous United States.

Wiz offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, flexible spending, connectivity reimbursement, employee assistance, disability insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and location, with a salary range of $108,000 — $148,500 USD. This role is eligible for Wiz’s equity plan and incentive compensation.
