THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION. Walton Signage is a well-respected, innovative company in the signage industry. The Company serves large, national or corporate accounts with turnkey installation of high quality signage systems and has been listed several times as one of Inc. We are currently recruiting for a SOLUTIONS EXPERT for reviewing, foreseeing, and resolving manufacturing and installation opportunities and challenges to produce the desired results for the customer. DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Serves as the team’s Subject Matter Expert on challenges that arise regarding installation and manufacturing matters.
• Overall project responsibility as it related to installation and manufacturing costing objectives;
• Works closely with manufacturing partners to develop standards for “buildability” and value engineering within client specifications;
• Review and establish technical support documents for installers and manufacturing subcontractors;
• Collaborate with Designers to ensure drawings are detailed and understandable;
• Train PM and Design team members on technical details;
• Issue, interpret, and approve technical surveys;
• Negotiate Purchase Orders;
• Provide direction on identifying and/or qualifying potential subcontractors/vendors;
• Identify methods of improving gross margin in manufacturing and installation via outsourcing, negotiation, direction, etc.
• Proficient at reading manufactured drawings: provides direction by turning concepts provided by customers and turning these concepts into designs and detailed drawings;
• Ensures that all specifications are clearly delineated for the remainder of the production process and prevent/resolve complex installation issues with the sign installer;
• Maintains a solid understanding of overall cost of product and how to reduce these costs as part of the design cycle;
• Provide a budgetary guideline for installation for Project Managers;
• Knowledge of commercial construction processes, techniques and materials;
• Communicates regularly with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns on issues that arise;

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 10 years experience in signage.

• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products required.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

• Holds sensitive / confidential information in the highest regard. Define goals that ensure company and customer satisfaction.

• Must maintain a continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
