Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions seeks an Application Development Engineer to drive technical solutions for complex interconnect challenges. You will interface with customers, internal product teams, and sales to prototype, test, and refine PCB-based designs.

The role requires hands-on prototyping, strong communication skills, and a drive to differentiate our products across automotive, robotics, and data infrastructure markets. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong PCB design and schematic capture experience.
• Hands-on prototyping, testing, and debugging.
• Ability to present concepts and technical solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Support Amphenol growth across diverse markets (Automotive, Robotics, Energy Storage & AI).
• Develop interconnect solutions meeting customer needs and technical requirements.
• Lead design reviews and customer meetings.
• Create and maintain engineering documents and test plans.
• Engage with product, CAE, process, and sales teams as needed.
