Job summary

Ateme is seeking a VIE Solutions Engineer to support its North American business from Denver. In this role you will help design, present, and validate complex video solutions, bridging Sales and Delivery throughout the sales cycle and into implementation handoff.

You will collaborate with an international team, deliver demos and POCs, and contribute to RFI/RFP responses while developing your expertise in cloud and hybrid video workflows.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking and Linux.
• Initial exposure to video, broadcast, streaming, transcoding, or playout technologies.
• Experience with cloud, hybrid, or software-based video workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Marketing to align solution design with customer requirements.
• Participate in technical discovery and progressively take ownership as experience grows.
• Contribute to solution architecture, implementation approaches, and roadmaps with Solutions Engineering.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, and POCs in customer environments.

Mission:

As a VIE Solutions Engineer, you will support Ateme’s North American business by contributing to the technical sales process for complex video solutions. Working alongside the Solutions Engineering team, you will help design, present, and validate solutions that meet customer requirements and support the sales cycle through implementation handoff.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Discovery & Solution Design:

• Partner with Sales and Marketing to align solution design with customer business and technical requirements.

• Participate in technical discovery and progressively take ownership as your experience develops.

• Contribute to solution architecture, implementation approaches, and roadmaps alongside the Solutions Engineering team.

Demos, POCs & Proposal Support:

• Prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs) in customer environments.

• Support the technical aspects of RFI/RFP responses, including scope assessment, solution recommendations, and proposal support.

• Support the creation of statements of work, bills of materials, and technical documentation.

Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Explain complex technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Work as a bridge between Sales and Delivery to support smooth project execution and implementation.

• Represent Ateme alongside the team at industry forums, trade shows, and customer events.

• Provide technical training and guidance to customers and partners.

• Support the end-to-end sales cycle and progressively take greater ownership of the technical side of opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Technical Foundation: Good knowledge of IP networking and Linux, with initial exposure to video, broadcast, streaming, transcoding, or playout technologies.
• Industry Exposure: Initial relevant experience through internships, apprenticeships, academic projects, or a first professional experience.
• Cloud & Software: Familiarity with cloud, hybrid, or software-based video workflows is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
