Job summary

Connect-Force is seeking an Applications Engineer in Farmington Hills, MI. You will review customer RFQs and technical specifications, evaluate applications, and develop practical equipment and process solutions.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, sales, and manufacturing to prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates. The role emphasizes translating customer needs into technically feasible, commercially competitive solutions while maintaining clear communication and documentation throughout

Qualifications

Strong technical foundation with ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and RFQs.
Experience translating customer needs into practical, technically sound solutions.
Ability to develop technical proposals, quotations, estimates, or project scopes.
Comfortable interacting with customers and coordinating with internal teams to support proposals.

Responsibilities

Review RFQs, specs, drawings, and manufacturing requirements.
Evaluate applications and determine equipment and process solutions.
Develop technical concepts and preliminary solutions based on requirements.
Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, cost estimates, and supporting docs.
Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing as proposals progress.
