Connect Force is seeking an Applications & Proposal Engineer to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. This full-time, on-site role blends engineering, sales, and manufacturing to turn technical needs into clear, actionable proposals.

You will review customer specs, develop equipment and process solutions, prepare technical proposals with scope and pricing, and generate cost estimates. Collaboration across engineering, sales, and manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in applications engineering or proposal engineering.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong attention to detail in estimates and documentation.
• Clear communication across technical and commercial teams.

Responsabilités

• Review customer specs, drawings, and RFQs to define project requirements.
• Develop practical equipment and process solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical proposals with scope, pricing, and assumptions.
• Develop cost estimates using equipment, tooling, and engineering needs.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to clarify specs.
• Identify risks and information gaps to improve the approach.
• Support transition from quotation to project execution with clear expectations.
