Job summary
Nearmap is seeking a Solutions Engineer to drive technical discovery and design for government opportunities. You will lead demos of 2D/3D/AI content, tailor solutions to client systems, and guide customers through integration and deployment across GIS and asset management contexts.
You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Tech teams, delivering compelling use cases and scalable workflows, while supporting pre‑sale activities and technical content creation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a GIS-centric role, preferably with local government.
- 2+ years in a technical sales or sales engineering role (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to support qualified opportunities.
- Lead technical discovery conversations and deliver demos for Nearmap solutions.
- Advise government prospects on integrating Nearmap content into systems and workflows.
- Develop deployable solutions and workflows for customer environments.
- Create technical content and documentation to articulate solution benefits.
- Lead onboarding and best-practice guidance for custom solutions.
