Job summary

NobleAI is seeking a Solutions Engineer to collaborate with Sales, Product, and AI/Research teams in San Francisco or remote locations. You will understand customer needs, demonstrate platform capabilities, and help design demonstrations and integrations that showcase scientific and technological solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in technical consulting, strong communication, and the ability to work across technical and business stakeholders. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of technical consulting, forward deployed engineering, or solutions-focused marketing.
• Proven ability to drive measurable results via consultative/solution selling.
• Strong business acumen: communicate complex concepts, build relationships, tell the big-picture story.
• Experience engaging customers, supporting pre-sales, or excelling in customer success.
• Expertise in computational chemistry and ability to speak NobleAI core domains.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and data science tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders across teams.
• Proficiency in data analytics, visualization, data management, and predictive modeling tools.

NobleAI's VIP Platform is a Science-Based AI platform that predicts complex systems, helping companies accelerate discovery, improve product and asset performance, and drive measurable commercial results across energy, chemistry, and manufacturing. NobleAI turns sparse, multi-source industrial data into predictive models and decision-grade insights. By combining physics and chemistry expertise with advanced machine learning, our platform improves resource recovery, asset performance, and product quality.

We're seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role will work with Sales, Product, and AI/Research teams to understand and meet customer needs, demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our products to prospective clients, and assist in selling complex scientific and technological solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in enterprise software solutions and professional services, solid hands-on technical skills, and preferably a background in Computational Chemistry. They should possess a strong drive to achieve sales and business development goals and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business value through science-based AI use cases for customers and prospects
• Present and demonstrate NobleAI VIP Platform capabilities to potential clients
• Design new use case demonstrations including VIP Platform, custom build models and agentic flows or API integrations
• Understand the chemistry and business constraints and identify available data for prospects. Prepare SOWs based on the customer discovery.
• Clean and analyze customer data and build predictive models.
• Explain model limitations to the scientists and translate the result into the business impact.
• Work with NobleAI's AI/Product/Engineering teams to turn the prototype into a customer solution.
• Collaborate with the sales team and be the technology evangelist for NobleAI solutions
• Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 30% of time)

What We're Looking For

• B.SC or M.SC Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or other related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, forward deployed engineering or solutions-focused marketing. Minimum 3 years of technical experience and 2 years in a customer-facing position.
• Proven ability to drive measurable results via consultative/solution selling.
• Strong business acumen: can clearly communicate complex technical concepts, develop relationships, and tell the big-picture story.
• Experience engaging customers, supporting pre-sales, or excelling in customer success.
• Expertise in computational chemistry-can speak the language of NobleAI's core domains.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and data science tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Collaborates comfortably with AI scientists, ML engineers, and across functional teams.
• Proficient with data analytics, visualization, data management, and predictive modeling tools:
  • Python proficiency (Pandas, scikit-learn, Plotly, Streamlit, Flask, etc)
  • Javascript and front-end/back-end web app development experience
• Hands-on experience for building and prototyping technical solutions using python, streamlit and other computing languages
