Location: Sunnyvale, CA | Hybrid | Direct Hire

Compensation: $200,000-$250,000 Base + 10%-15% Annual Bonus (based on performance)

We're looking for an experienced Principal Solutions Architect who can bridge the worlds of customers, engineering, product, and business—and become the trusted technical advisor enterprise customers rely on from the first conversation through successful deployment and long‑term adoption.

THE OPPORTUNITY - This isn't a behind-the-scenes architecture role.

You'll be at the center of some of Noble Machines' most important enterprise relationships, translating complex operational challenges into scalable AI‑powered robotics solutions.

You'll work directly with engineering and development teams, business leaders, executive decision‑makers, Sales, Product, and Customer Success.

Your impact will span the entire customer journey - from discovery and technical evaluation to demonstrations, solution design, deployment, and adoption.

As Noble Machines grows, you'll also have the opportunity to help establish scalable deployment practices and potentially build and lead an Application Engineering team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead Enterprise Customer Engagements

• Become the trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers throughout the pre‑sales and deployment lifecycle
• Uncover operational and technical challenges and translate them into scalable robotics solutions
• Build relationships with engineers, developers, operational leaders, and executive decision‑makers
• Lead technical presentations, solution discussions, demonstrations, and evaluations
• Communicate highly technical concepts in a way that resonates with both engineers and executives

Turn Solutions Into Successful Deployments

• Lead enterprise implementations from solution architecture through production deployment
• Develop implementation strategies, deployment plans, and technical success criteria
• Identify technical risks early and drive solutions across internal and customer teams
• Create repeatable deployment methodologies and implementation best practices

Bridge Customers, Sales & Engineering

• Partner with Sales to accelerate technical evaluations and shorten complex enterprise sales cycles
• Work directly with Engineering to solve challenging customer and deployment problemsTranslate customer feedback into actionable insights for Product Management
• Help customers understand both the technical capabilities and business value of Noble Machines' platform
• Improve processes and technical enablement as the organization scales

Help Shape the Product

• Bring the voice of the customer directly into product discussions
• Identify recurring customer requirements and emerging use cases
• Recommend improvements that increase adoption and customer value
• Help position Noble Machines as a trusted technology partner in Physical AI and industrial automation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical discipline
• 5-10+ years of experience across solutions architecture, application engineering, pre‑sales engineering, technical consulting, systems integration, enterprise implementation, or a similar customer‑facing technical role
• Demonstrated success leading complex enterprise deployments
• Strong technical credibility combined with excellent customer‑facing and business communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with both engineering/development teams and executive decision‑makers
• Experience partnering across Sales, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑moving, high‑growth technology environment

EVEN BETTER IF YOU BRING

• Master's degree in a technical field
• Experience with robotics, Physical AI, industrial automation, Edge AI, autonomous systems, or automotive technology
• Computer vision or perception‑stack experience
• Complex enterprise hardware + software deployment experience
• Experience with customers in manufacturing, construction, mining, logistics, or energy
• Experience supporting technical evaluations, demos, proofs of concept, and enterprise sales cycles
• Interest in eventually building and leading an Application Engineering organization
