iCapital is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the Annuities Platform team in the Des Moines area. You will serve as a technical advisor, shaping solutions through discovery, demonstrations, and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Product, Engineering and Professional Services.

You will lead requirements gathering, design scalable solutions, and support proposals and implementation transitions, with a focus on insurance/annuity domains and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in insurance, annuity or wealth management, or financial services.
• 2+ years partnering with sales, product, engineering and professional services teams.
• 2+ years in technical sales, requirements documentation, client-facing demos, and solution consulting.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Translate complex tech concepts into clear business value.
• Experience with APIs, web services, data integrations, SSO, and enterprise architecture.
• Knowledge of ACORD standards and insurance data models is preferred.
• Familiar with Life and Annuity automated Order Entry platforms is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Sales teams, prospects, and clients to understand objectives as trusted advisor.
• Lead discovery sessions to define processes, data needs, risks and objectives.
• Design scalable solutions aligned to client needs and product capabilities.
• Deliver tailored product demos and solution workshops for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to validate designs.
• Support RFP/RFI responses, SOWs, estimates, and technical docs.
• Ensure seamless transition from sales to implementation with knowledge transfer.
• Build relationships with prospects and clients to establish credibility.
• Contribute to sales enablement, training, and best practices.
