Job summary

Traversal is seeking a Solutions Engineer to guide customers from technical discovery to deployment, working at the intersection of engineering depth and relationship building.

You will collaborate with product and engineering to tailor pilot deployments, translate customer needs into value, and scale founder-led sales into repeatable processes. A high-ownership, fast-paced startup environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Solutions Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer or similar role.
• Strong backend/cloud observability background.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience building POCs and leading demos.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical discovery and demo conversations with engineering teams evaluating Traversal.
• Translate complex infrastructure problems into tailored, high-impact pilot evaluations.
• Build and maintain demo environments, technical guides, and internal tooling to support the sales process.
• Partner with product and engineering to scope integrations and relay customer feedback.
• Support onboarding and implementation efforts for new customers, ensuring early wins.
• Stay current on observability trends, SRE workflows, and the AI infrastructure ecosystem.
