Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Solutions Engineer - Agents & Automation to serve as the technical SME for building and delivering agent-based automation solutions. You will translate business needs into workflows and guide architecture, governance, and lifecycle management across Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, and Foundry.

This remote role focuses on enterprise deployment, security, and responsible AI practices while collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to drive operational improvements.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Solutions Engineer - Agents & Automation to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will serve as a key technical partner in designing and delivering agent-based automation solutions that help customers streamline work and improve operational effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into practical workflows, while guiding solution architecture, governance, security, and lifecycle management. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and related AI-enabled platforms, along with the ability to advise on responsible AI practices and enterprise deployment considerations.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical SME for workforce agent solution development across Microsoft platforms.
• Build and deploy custom-engine agent solutions, integrating with enterprise systems.
• Guide customers through agent solution delivery and governance.
• Lead implementation of agent governance and environment readiness.
• Design and implement security and compliance controls for agent onboarding.
• Establish enterprise agent governance and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, or related technologies, focusing on AI or agent-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience developing agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry.
• Experience designing declarative and embedded agent experiences across Microsoft platforms.
• Strong understanding of agent architecture, governance, security, and lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to act as a technical advisor and SME for solution design.
• Working knowledge of applied AI concepts and responsible AI practices.
