Triwill Group is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support customer onboarding and API integrations. You will serve as the primary technical contact for integrations with MDI APIs and webhooks, testing data flows, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring successful go-lives.

This role suits someone early in their technical career who enjoys solving problems, learning systems, and explaining complex concepts clearly to non-technical customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a prospect-/customer-facing role supporting technical implementations.
• Strong understanding of APIs, Webhooks, JSON payloads, and HTTP status codes.
• Familiarity with data mapping, payload structures, or basic scripting (Python, JavaScript, or SQL).
• Experience using tools such as HubSpot, Postman for troubleshooting and testing API calls.
• Able to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical users.
• Experience documenting integration processes or producing customer-facing materials.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Curiosity to learn new systems and data flows.
• Customer-first mindset, comfortable helping customers solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical point of contact for new customer integrations, from setup to post-launch support.
• Assist customers with API configuration and test scenarios, validating integration setup over screen share.
• Troubleshoot integration issues using Postman, logs, and dashboards; escalate to engineering when needed.
• Translate customer inquiries and data needs into clear technical tasks and configuration notes.
• Collaborate with Clinical Support and Customer Success teams to align expectations and capabilities.
• Create or improve internal and client-facing technical documentation, guides, dashboards, workflows, and SOPs.
• Identify recurring issues and propose simplifications or automation of the integration process.
• Maintain high responsiveness and customer empathy throughout the lifecycle.

Description

The Solutions Engineer plays a key role in supporting MDI customers through the technical aspects of onboarding and integration. You'll serve as the primary technical contact for customers integrating with MDI's APIs and webhooks, become an expert on each API endpoint, testing data flow, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring successful go-lives. This role is ideal for someone early in their technical career who enjoys problem-solving, learning new systems, and explaining complex concepts clearly to non-technical customers. You'll work closely with engineers, and customer success teams to make integrations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical point of contact for new customer integrations, from setup to post-launch support.
• Assist our customers with their API configuration and test scenarios, validating their integration set up over screen share and guiding the customer in real time.
• Troubleshoot integration issues using tools like Postman, logs, and internal dashboards; collaborate with engineering for complex escalations.
• Translate customer inquiries and data needs into clear technical tasks and configuration notes.
• Work with Clinical Support Team and Customer Success Managers to ensure customer expectations and technical capabilities align.
• Create or improve internal and client-facing technical documentation, guides, dashboards, workflows and knowledge base.
• Identify recurring issues or friction points and recommend ways to simplify or automate the integration process.
• Maintain a high level of responsiveness, follow-through, and customer empathy throughout the integration lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a prospect-/customer-facing role directly supporting technical implementations such as a Solutions Engineer or Technical Support.
• Strong foundational understanding of APIs, Webhooks, JSON payloads, and HTTP status codes. Understanding key concepts related to Webhooks, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with data mapping, payload structures, or basic scripting (Python, JavaScript, or SQL).
• Experience using tools such as HubSpot, Postman or equivalent for troubleshooting and testing API calls.
• Technically-savvy and able to communicate technical concepts and processes to both technical and non-technical users.
• Experience documenting integration processes or producing customer-facing support materials for internal and external use including workflows, process diagrams and SOPs.
• High attention to detail and organization; able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn new systems, data flows, and integration logic quickly.
• Customer-first mindset - you thrive in helping customers solve problems and find clarity.
• Experience in SaaS or healthcare technology integrations, preferred.
