Transportation Insight seeks a Solutions Engineer to assess, design, and implement logistics solutions that enhance client business models. You will lead cross‑functional teams and translate current state into a detailed future-state plan with data‑driven analytics.
You will engage with senior stakeholders to craft value‑based solutions, price strategies, and coordinate with sales and delivery to ensure successful implementation and measurable improvements.
The Solutions Engineer is responsible for assessing, developing and supporting the implementation of logisticssolutions that improve current and prospective clients’ business models.The individual will possess strong evaluation skills as you review current state, using appropriate tools/diagrams. Detailed data analysis will complement the process to ensure an ideal future state is designed. As an integral part of the Transportation Insight sales process, the Solutions Engineer will be a hands‑on leader.
This role is responsible for supporting the deal cycle with an emphasis on strategic thought, business acumen, creative problem-solving, flexibility, and sound judgment.The Solutions Engineer will collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders, senior-level team members and prospective clients to design a solution that meets client-stated needs/requirements, can be operated by the organization, and that is profitable.
The individual in this role brings demonstrated skills in consultative selling, supply chain management, TMS system implementation, project management and is able to apply these skills effectively across functional departments. They are able to price complex multi-mode servicesolutions and provide key inputs for the production, demonstration and presentation of documents to prospective clients.

This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. An employee in this position must be available to work occasionally on weekends and evenings, during peak periods
Local travel and out of state travel is required and can be up to 15% of the time.
