Job summary

The Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid, managed by Essex Hotel Management, seeks a DRIVEN Maintenance Engineer to ensure smooth operation of all hotel systems. You will perform inspections, routine maintenance, repairs, and coordinate with contractors as needed.

Applicants should have at least 3 years in a similar role, strong knowledge of MEP systems, and excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Flexibility for nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that arise with the systems.
• Coordinate with outside contractors as needed for larger repairs or installations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Respond promptly to any emergency situations that arise.
• Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed.
