Job Title: Solutions Consultant

Location: Remote (US-based preferred)

Reports to: Head of Sales / CEO

The Opportunity

I’m partnering with a high-growth construction technology startup that’s changing the way the construction industry operates. They’re now looking to add a Solutions Consultant to the team — someone who brings real-world construction experience and can serve as the technical product expert during the sales process.

This is a critical hire. You’ll play a key role in helping potential customers understand the value of the platform — not just through features, but by speaking their language, understanding their pain points, and showing how the tech fits into real-world workflows.

About the Role

As the Solutions Consultant, you’ll collaborate closely with the sales team to drive new business. You’ll be the go-to product and industry expert — leading tailored demos, mapping solutions to customer needs, and building confidence with prospects by drawing on your firsthand knowledge of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical and product expert throughout the sales cycle
  • Lead engaging, value-based product demos and walkthroughs
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to tailor solutions to each prospect’s needs
  • Translate complex workflows and construction use cases into product capabilities
  • Build trust with prospects by speaking from hands-on experience in construction
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on market needs and customer use
  • Support onboarding and early adoption when needed to ensure smooth handoff and success
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of the platform, use cases, and the competitive landscape

What They’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience in the construction industry (e.g., project management, estimating, field ops, site management)
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows, tools, and pain points
  • Prior experience in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or similar customer-facing role is a plus — but not required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable speaking with superintendents, PMs, and execs alike
  • Tech-savvy and eager to work at the intersection of construction and software
  • Collaborative, curious, and customer-obsessed
