Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Pasadena, CA is seeking a student to assist in SSD Solutions Architecture. Under supervision, you will support information provision, database maintenance, and routine data analysis, helping translate ideas into actionable solutions.

You will collect and format reports, prepare graphs and presentations, and assist with project tasks related to Epic enhancements and data analytics using Power BI, SAS, R Studio, and Python.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program or recent graduate.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint).
• Proficient with a variety of software applications.
• Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in information provision, maintenance of databases, report production and routine data analysis.
• Collect, prepares and tracks reports and summaries such as: budget to actual expenditures, production statistics, and utilization of services and statistical records of performance.
• Prepare ad hoc data requests and format graphs, spreadsheets and reports using office software.
• May maintain databases by entering data and preparing data extracts; may extract information from different sources to compile data.
• Execute existing queries for established reports and support project work; assist in developing presentations.
