Job summary

DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking a Solution Architect in a hybrid role across multiple major U.S. cities, including San Diego, to design scalable, secure technology solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

You will partner with business and engineering teams to shape solution direction, drive implementation choices, and ensure governance and security compliance while advancing cloud-native, API-first architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and enterprise architecture.
• Deep expertise in solution architecture, system integration, application design, cloud technologies, and enterprise technology platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns including microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, cloud-native solutions, and integration frameworks.
• Experience working with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead architecture governance processes and influence technology strategy across multiple teams.
• Experience collaborating with business leaders, product organizations, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions that are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective.
• Create architecture artifacts: current/future state views, data flows, deployment models.
• Ensure designs align with enterprise standards and security requirements.
• Provide architecture guidance throughout the lifecycle, from discovery to production adoption.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, product, and delivery teams to realize approved architectures.
• Lead architecture reviews and design sessions to identify risks and optimization opportunities.
• Promote cloud-native, API-first, event-driven and modern design practices.
