Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) invites applications for a role within the Internal WWT IT team. The role focuses on maintaining and modernizing our technology infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient operations across hardware, software, networks, and data systems.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, architects and other domain experts to translate business problems into technical solutions, drive data quality, and support enterprise initiatives with data-driven insights.

As a member of the IT Services Analytics team, you will:

• Model and frame business scenarios that are meaningful and impact critical business processes and/or decisions.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, data engineers, architects & data scientists and other domain experts to match technical solutions to stated business problems.
• Develop experimental and analytic plans for data modeling, matching algorithms, and exploratory data science.
• Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports & diagrams for management and executive teams.
• Ensure design coherence to all company and regulatory data privacy requirements.
• Ensure clarity around technical, business and non-functional requirements for project clarity and execution. Validate deliverables and adherence to architectural design.
• Produce data and visual analytics needed for sales and marketing . Share results and updates in written and presentation format . Provide domain expertise to other value streams.
• Build and enhance data catalog, document data process flow details.
• Research and evaluate sources of information to determine any limitations in reliability, performance and usability.
• Maintain company data quality standards by actively evaluating data processing for accuracy, timeliness, completeness, consistency, and validity.
• Build relationships with business and development teams . Provide timely coaching and mentorship as we continue our data maturation. Communicate with key stakeholders in soliciting feedback and input on potential process improvements.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science, MIS, computer engineering or relevant work experience required .
• Minimum of five years of experience mana ging l arge datasets and databases , including relational and cloud‑based platforms.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle or similar SQL store)
• Knowledge of scaling large data storage and processing, queues/pipeline‑processing
• Familiarity with basic principles of distributed computing and/or distributed databases.
• Experience with reporting software such as Webfocus , Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI ) or similar tools a plus.
• Ex per i ence with Vi si o , L ucid , or othe r di agra m ing tools to ar ticulat e proc ess fl ows an d/or re latio nal data mod els.
• Experience with tools like Oracle EBS (Projects), Beeline, Empower, Bullhorn, Salesforce
• Understanding and experience with data extraction (ETL) methodologies and tools.
• Experience with AI driven development , low code or no code solutions and platforms
• Experience with data integration and data mapping tools
• Experience with REST‑based APIs and visualization and reporting technologies
• Experience working with clients to solve complex problems

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $ 110,800 to $ 138,500 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.
