Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Solutions Architect to join the AWS Bedrock Customer Success Engineering Escalations and Engagements Team. You will own end-to-end technical investigations, explain service behavior, and rebuild customer confidence after events.

You will craft RCAs, run technical meetings, and contribute to knowledge bases. You will build internal tooling in Python, Rust, or TypeScript, and mentor others as part of a senior team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Own technical investigations end-to-end for assigned escalations and engagements; gather evidence, form and test a hypothesis, drive to a defensible root cause.
• Reproduce customer issues to validate root cause and mitigation.
• Take a well-formed problem statement to the service team with data; follow through to a fix or documented decision.
• Support high-stakes engagements led by senior team members and escalate when risk or ambiguity exceeds your level.
• Design, write, and operate internal tooling; build for reuse and security-by-default.
