Job summary

Pantex Plant is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and implement innovative solutions for critical missions. You will lead as the senior technical resource, guiding IT architecture, operations, and project teams to scope, estimate, and provide technical guidance for assigned opportunities.

The role requires strong analytical skills, ability to break down complex problems, and collaboration with enterprise architects to align with mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline.
• Master's degree in engineering or science discipline.
• OR at least 8 years of combined education and/or relevant experience if a bachelor's degree is not held.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on technology solutions and input on technology direction.
• Identify and collaborate with engineers to apply DevOps principles.
• Evaluate cloud-based technologies and their use in solutions.
• Ensure solutions are well engineered, operable, and maintainable.
• Deliver solutions on schedule with IT project management support.
• Document requirements for enterprise development projects.
• Track current and future technology trends that impact projects.
