Job summary

KPI Solutions seeks an experienced, hands-on Solution Architect to lead complex, high-risk automation programs. The role is a front-line architecture and execution position responsible for de-risking designs, tightening requirements, and bridging design, software and execution.

You will own end-to-end solution architecture for software-heavy automation systems, lead early requirements and risk identification, and validate feasibility across hardware, controls and software platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preference toward Engineering, Supply Chain, CS or Mathematics.
• 10+ years across progressive roles in warehouse automation.
• Proven track record in managing client facing pre-sales engineering.
• Proven track record of learning, designing, and implementing business processes.
• Proven track record leading continuous improvement initiatives with sustained results.
• Regular travel to KPI clients up to 25% as necessary.

Responsibilities

• De-risking solution design and validating feasibility across hardware, controls and software.
• Tightening requirements definition and bridging design to execution.
• Owning end-to-end solution architecture for software-heavy automation systems.
• Serving as the technical authority from concept through execution.
• Leading early requirements definition and risk identification before projects advance.
• Serving as the primary technical escalation point during execution.
• Partnering with software and technology vendors to validate capabilities and testing strategies.
• Supporting commissioning and ramp-up planning to ensure readiness and handoff.
• Capturing lessons learned and feeding improvements into standards and templates.
