Job summary

Zeektek, a regulated communications and connected-health technology company, seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to design secure, scalable end-to-end solutions across enterprise apps, API integrations, and cloud platforms. You will translate business requirements into architecture and guide implementation across Engineering, Security, Data, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions/enterprise/integration or cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions across Salesforce, NetSuite, Celigo, telecoms, devices and cloud services.
• Define integration patterns, REST APIs, event-driven flows and data ownership.
• Create architecture docs, diagrams, ADRs and guardrails; guide implementation.
• Own platform architecture linking captioned devices, IoT services, and cloud apps.
• Plan call routing, SIP/WebRTC, provisioning, device management and interconnects.
• Design multi-cloud AWS/Azure solutions with IaC, HA, and DR.
• Specify data boundaries, storage models, and lifecycle with NoSQL/time-series tech.
• Lead security reviews, threat modeling, IAM, encryption, and secure SDLC.

Overview

A regulated communications and connected-health technology company is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect, a hands-on senior individual contributor who designs secure, scalable, end-to-end solutions across enterprise applications (Salesforce, NetSuite, Celigo), API and event-driven integrations, AWS/Azure cloud platforms, telecommunications and real-time communications (SIP, WebRTC), and IoT connected devices. You'll translate business requirements into architecture, own technical decisions, and guide implementation across Engineering, Security, Data, Product, and business teams.

Responsibilities

Solution and integration architecture

• Design end-to-end solutions across Salesforce, NetSuite, Celigo (iPaaS), telecom platforms, device systems, and cloud services.
• Define integration patterns, REST APIs, event-driven processes, data flows, and system-of-record responsibilities, and identify consolidation and modernization opportunities.
• Produce architecture documents, system diagrams, integration maps, technical standards, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and guide decisions through implementation.

Connected device and telecom architecture

• Own the platform-side architecture connecting captioned phones, IoT wellness devices, third-party device clouds, business applications, and cloud services.
• Design solutions for call routing, provisioning, device and number management, SIP and carrier integrations, SBCs, PSTN interconnects, WebRTC, and real-time captioning.

Cloud, data, and resiliency

• Design multi-cloud solutions across AWS and Azure, and set standards for environments, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR).
• Define data boundaries, consistency models, storage strategies, and lifecycle practices across NoSQL and time-series platforms.
• Define and validate non-functional requirements (NFRs), including performance, scalability, availability, reliability, security, cost, and recoverability. This includes load, capacity, failover, and performance testing.

Security, compliance, and governance

• Apply secure-by-design and threat-modeling practices, including IAM, encryption, API security, zero trust, vulnerability management, and penetration-test remediation.
• Partner with Security and Compliance on HIPAA, FCC, PCI, accessibility, and privacy requirements.
• Lead architecture reviews, establish reference patterns and guardrails, and maintain current- and future-state architecture documentation.

Technical leadership

• Advise on complex cross-functional initiatives, and communicate options, risks, and tradeoffs to engineers, product and business leaders, and executives.
• Mentor engineers and promote consistent architecture practices across teams.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions, enterprise, integration, or cloud architecture.
• Proven experience personally designing complex multi-system solutions from requirements through implementation.
• Experience designing API-based (REST), event-driven, and distributed system architectures.
• Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, Celigo, or comparable enterprise platforms and integration tools.
• Experience designing for performance, scalability, availability, reliability, security, and disaster recovery.
• Ability to document decisions, communicate tradeoffs, and influence outcomes across technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Telecom or real-time communications architecture, such as contact center, CPaaS, UCaaS, SIP, WebRTC, or captioning platforms.
• IoT or connected-device architecture, including device-to-cloud integration, telemetry ingestion, data synchronization, near-real-time alerting, device provisioning and management, and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
• AWS and Azure services, cloud migration, IaC, and cloud architecture frameworks.
• NoSQL and time-series databases (DynamoDB, InfluxDB, TimescaleDB).
• Event streaming with Confluent Kafka.
• Healthcare, wellness, safety-critical, telecom, or other regulated environments, and knowledge of HIPAA, FCC, PCI, accessibility, and privacy requirements.
• Threat modeling, zero-trust architecture, secure SDLC, IAM, secure API design, and vulnerability and risk management.
• Experience partnering with embedded systems, firmware, mobile, or device engineering teams.
• ADRs, reference architectures, architecture governance, and defining and validating SLAs/SLOs.
