Job summary

Bayer in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Solutions Architect to advance data integration platforms, develop and implement product roadmaps and features, and document design patterns.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate data needs into scalable API and AI‑enabled solutions. The role requires a Master’s in CS/IT or closely related field with 3+ years of IT experience in cloud services (AWS), containerized and serverless architectures, Kubernetes, MuleSoft, Envoy

Qualifications

• Master’s in CS/IT or related field; 3+ years IT experience in architecting and testing cloud services and SaaS in AWS.
• Experience with containerized and serverless architectures; Kubernetes experience required.
• Strong knowledge of API/data integration platforms (MuleSoft, Envoy Gateway) and OpenAPI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and test cloud and SaaS solutions on AWS.
• Develop and implement product roadmaps and features for data integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define data integration needs.
• Create proof of concepts and MVPs for API discovery/documentation; leverage OpenAPI, LLMs, and CARGO for crop science initiatives.
