Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our Enabling Functions team in St. Louis, MO. You will design and implement API and data integration platforms, guide cloud-native solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to meet data needs.

The role supports containerized and serverless architectures on AWS, uses MuleSoft and Envoy Gateway, and explores OpenAPI tools and LLMs for API discovery and documentation. Telecommuting up to 3 days/week is allowed.

Qualifications

• Master’s in CS/IT or closely-related field required; strong cloud & API experience.
• 3+ years IT-related experience: architecting/designing/testing cloud services and SaaS in AWS; Kubernetes.
• Experience with containerized/serverless architectures (AWS Snowball Edge, Data Pipelines, ECS Fargate, EKS GKE, AKS).

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and test API and data integration platforms.
• Develop and implement product roadmap for data integration and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and document design patterns.
