Job summary

TechBiz Global GmbH is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join one of our client's teams in the United States. You will serve as the client-facing technical representative and as the technical lead for the development team.

You will create architecture documentation, define the test strategy with QA, lead DevOps to build CI/CD pipelines, and ensure implementations meet non-functional requirements. Strong Java and microservices expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java platform with hands-on experience.
• Experience with Spring, Maven and GitHub.
• Understanding SOA and Microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, OpenAPI, Integration Platforms, API Gateway.
• Experience with native mobile development is an advantage.
• Ability to learn new architectural frameworks quickly.
• Experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns and frameworks.
• Operational knowledge of app servers, databases, load balancers, and infrastructure for scalable web apps.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience designing solutions for financial services, especially banking.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.

• The role responsibilities consist of two primary parts: client facing technical representative of the team and the technical lead for the development team.
• This client-facing part requires comfort in deep-dive technical workshops and in board-level sales presentations.
• The development leadership should include creation of technical architecture documentation;
• working with the QA lead to define the test strategy;
• leading DevOps to define and implement CI/CD pipelines;
• ensuring that implementations meet non-functional requirements.

• Understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), as well as Micro-Services Architecture;
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, MVC patterns and principles of REST APIs, OpenAPI, Integration Platforms, API Gateway, etc.
• Knowledge of native mobile development is an advantage.
• Ability to quickly understand new architectural frameworks and best practices;
• Professionally worked with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks;
• Operational knowledge of application servers, databases, load balancers and other infrastructure components required to deploy web applications in a highly available and scalable environment;
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with designing solutions for financial services (especially banking);
• Experience with server virtualization and containers technology such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD.
