Job summary

eNGINE is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead our innovation practice and set the technical direction for new initiatives. You will spin up proofs of concept, scope and estimate efforts, and ensure seamless handoffs to delivery teams while maintaining focus on future opportunities.

You will architect end-to-end solutions using .NET and React, define deployment and cloud strategies, and partner with DevOps from day one to ensure scalable, reliable outcomes across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead an innovation group focused on proof-of-concept work, technical exploration, and early-stage solution design
• Scope new initiatives and produce realistic estimates (hours, complexity, risk)
• Establish development process and technical direction for new projects, then transition ownership to delivery teams as you move to the next initiative
• Architect and guide workflow automation solutions, advising on when and how automation tooling fits a given problem
• Design solutions across a modern .NET / React stack with sound cloud architecture principles
• Partner with DevOps to ensure solutions are built with deployment, scalability, and operations in mind from day one
• Act as a technical thought partner across multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders

eNGINE is hiring a Solutions Architect to lead our innovation practice - the team responsible for exploring what's next, proving it out, and setting new projects up for success before handing them off to delivery teams. This is not a "build one thing and stay with it" role. You'll spin up proofs of concept, scope and estimate new initiatives, get the development process and technical direction established, and then move on to the next opportunity while your last one is still in flight.

What You'll Do:

• Lead an innovation group focused on proof-of-concept work, technical exploration, and early-stage solution design
• Scope new initiatives and produce realistic estimates (hours, complexity, risk)

• Design solutions across a modern .NET / React stack with sound cloud architecture principles
• Partner with DevOps to ensure solutions are built with deployment, scalability, and operations in mind from day one
• Act as a technical thought partner across multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders

Must-Haves:

• Strong experience with the .NET stack
• Strong experience with React
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and principles
• Solid understanding of Cloud Architecture
• Understanding of Workflow Automation concepts and patterns (
• Demonstrated ability to build solutions from the ground up - not just design on paper

Nice-to-Haves:

• Hands-on experience with workflow automation/orchestration engine (e.g., Temporal, Zeebe, jBPM)
• One or more prior projects specifically involving workflow automation implementation
• Background in consulting - comfort moving between projects, working with varied stakeholders, and standing up new engagements quickly tends to be a strong fit for this role
