Job summary

The Timberline Group is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead architectural design and implementation of enterprise software solutions. You will drive solution delivery, research, identify and select technologies, and align internal and vendor teams to a shared technical direction.

You will influence cross-functional partnerships, model behaviors, and help drive future innovations across Applications, Data, Security and Infrastructure while leveraging Azure and Power BI platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of experience in the Software Engineering field.
• Hands on experience with cloud solutions (Azure) and related technologies to drive optimization in software solutions.
• Proven experience developing strategic software architecture plans and modernization of solutions.
• Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices.
• Above‑average analytical, conceptual and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience conducting technology, trends, standards and products research.
• Solid track record in prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, determine technology platform and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf applications or custom-built technology solutions to meet business needs.
• Improve, maintain, monitor a collection of 3rd-party and custom developed applications from an infrastructure perspective.
• Responsible for overall design of solutions and architectural landscape.
• Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality.
• Curator of the code repository and integration services.
• Participate in systems related integration issues to resolution.
• Establish architectural standards and direct external developers on adherence of those standards.
• Demonstrate the broad expertise to integrate the technical vision for IT, integrating across technologies, systems, and organization.
• Coordinate the identification and assessment of new and emerging hardware, software, products, methods, and techniques and evaluating likely relevance of these for the organization.
• Is passionate about technology and has a breadth across multiple subject areas: Applications, Data, Security and Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Power of BI platform, Cloud Applications, N-tier web-based applications experience
