Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Solution Architect to join the Enterprise Manufacturing Solutions Team.

This role begins with hands‑on development to gain familiarity with existing architecture and processes, and quickly evolves into leading end‑to‑end project execution.

The position plays a key role in supporting capital investment initiatives and the modernization of legacy systems, including migration from mainframe technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to application development to build familiarity with team architecture and practices.
• Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to define and evaluate new project opportunities.
• Estimate project scope, effort, and resource requirements.
• Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for offshore development teams.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including daily scrums and sprint reviews.
• Oversee development progress and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Coordinate system testing efforts between technical teams and end users.
• Train Run Support teams and ensure readiness for post‑GoLive support.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with .NET Core / .NET Framework development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the steel or metals industry, particularly with IT solutions supporting manufacturing processes.
• Working knowledge of API integrations, MQTT, and UNS technologies.
• Experience collaborating with offshore development teams.
• Familiarity with Kafka for real‑time and batch integration (RDBMS Connector, JMS, REST, File, Schema Registry).
• Working knowledge of containerization and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with tools such as Visual Studio, VS Code, Toad, and SQL Developer.
• Experience developing web‑based and batch processing applications.
• Understanding of RESTful web services and system integrations.
• Knowledge of document databases such as Redis or MongoDB.
