Required Skills

The candidate must have a development background as they will be responsible for infrastructure setup. They will work with vendors and Product Owners to execute tasks. AWS experience is required.

Role Description

The Solution Architect will be hands-on, driving technical architecture and end-to-end solution design within Fidelity Institutional Technology, focusing on modernization initiatives. They will collaborate with vendors and business sponsors to deliver digital modernization.

Minimum Qualifications

1. 6+ years in architecture, analytics, design, and enterprise solution development across multiple platforms and languages.
2. Technical leadership capabilities, experience in designing solutions for agile teams, and ability to communicate design effectively.
3. Experience engaging with multiple squads, delivering architecture artifacts, and managing product roadmaps.
4. Skills in analyzing business strategies, assessing risks/benefits, and collaborating on technology evaluation and configuration.
5. Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and find opportunities for process improvement and capability enhancement.
6. Extensive knowledge of APIs, UI, infrastructure, data architecture, security, and emerging technologies.
7. Expertise in agile and DevOps practices.
8. Proficiency in cloud technologies, especially AWS or Azure, with cloud certification preferred.
9. Experience with microservices architecture.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across organizational levels.
11. Passion for technology and diverse language/framework experience.
12. Strong critical thinking and business-to-technology translation skills.
13. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with influencing ability.
