Job summary

Technology Ventures in McLean, VA seeks an experienced Solutions Architect with 18+ years of overall experience and 8+ years in hands-on solution architecture to translate complex business problems into scalable architectures.

You will drive design patterns, cloud-native solutions on AWS, and leverage AI/ML capabilities while collaborating with business architects, directors, product owners, and Agile coaches to shape enterprise-level transformations.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of overall experience with 8+ years in hands-on Solution Architecture
• 15+ years Java development experience
• Hands-on with design patterns and architectural patterns
• Experience in Generative AI and applying AI/ML to business problems
• Experience with AWS services and enterprise architecture
• Leadership in architecting solutions across enterprise transformations
• Ability to articulate architecture decisions with rationales

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business architects, directors, and product owners to define solution architecture
• Provide solutions for business problems and identify gaps in recruitment
• Explain architecture choices (REST API, file exchange) and rationale
• Lead and mentor teams across enterprise-level stakeholders
• Leverage Gen AI capabilities to improve processes and solutions

Job description

Must Have Qualifications: 18+ years of overall experience, 8+ years specifically hands of with Solution Architect that are able to follow business problems, interact with stakeholders.

MUST HAVE 15+ Java development experience. Hands on experience with Design patterns and architectural patterns. Preferred, AI/ML

Expecting technical sound, able to provide solutions for business problems, find gaps in recruitment, go back to the drawing board and provide business problems solutions.

Architect w hands on solution experience -provide solution for business problems.

Work with all stakeholders like business architects , directors at the enterprise level. Chief Product Owner, Product Owner, Agile Coach to ensure Solution and Technical Architecture

AI/ML - important - start leveraging Gen AI capabilities, any improvement in the proces, solution - individual to bring them. - will ask some questions.

AWS services focus

Don't have luxury or dedicated SLA - shared more than 3 teams - as a solutions architect for green filed solution, technical stack moderation, business process re imagination - not specific initiative.

Architect w hands on solution experience -provide solution for business problems.

Have to put a pen on paper to explain architecture pricines, processes, write architecture design rationally - why they make decisions about architecture.

Example : Rest api / File exchange -Why they picked and what made it to pick among them and need to explain.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; Advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture and Business Application development
• Extensive experience in Solution Architecture patterns such as micro-front ends, microservices, 12 factor applications etc.
• 5+ years of relevant task management experience
• Hands-on and architectural experience with modern Cloud Native architectures is required, as well as, demonstrable record of leading architects through organizational transformations
• 3+ years of relevant large-scale enterprise transformation experience as relates to architecture preferred
• Experience in Generative AI, demonstrable record of applicability of AI/ML to solve business problems.
• Prior experience in the primary or secondary mortgage industry is desirable
• Deep knowledge of various enterprise level Platforms widely used in the industry preferred
