Qualifications

• 5+ years in Solution/Enterprise/Application Architecture or related IT leadership roles.
• Experience with engineering tech platforms such as Autodesk, SolidWorks, CAD, PLM, or EDM/PLM solutions.
• Experience architecting integrations between engineering platforms, cloud solutions, and enterprise applications.
• Exposure to AWS, Microsoft technologies, Salesforce, SaaS platforms, and modern cloud systems.
• Strong understanding of engineering workflows and product development processes.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating with stakeholders.
• Ability to evaluate current-state architecture and define modernization strategies.

About the Opportunity

Insight Global is seeking a Solution Architect to support the modernization and integration of a large engineering technology ecosystem. This individual will lead architecture decisions across engineering platforms, CAD systems, PLM environments, cloud applications, and enterprise business systems. The ideal candidate has experience supporting engineering organizations and understands how product development, engineering data, and business platforms work together to support manufacturing and engineering operations.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Application Architecture, or related IT leadership roles
• Experience supporting engineering technology platforms such as Autodesk, SolidWorks, CAD, PLM, engineering data management systems, or product lifecycle management solutions
• Experience architecting integrations between engineering platforms, cloud solutions, and enterprise applications
• Exposure to AWS, Microsoft technologies, Salesforce, SaaS platforms, and modern cloud-based business systems
• Strong understanding of engineering and product development workflows
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Ability to communicate architecture concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
• Experience evaluating current-state architecture and developing modernization strategies

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or product development industry experience
• Experience with Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar PLM platforms
• Experience leading digital transformation or engineering systems modernization initiatives

Position Overview
