Job summary

Wise Skulls is seeking an experienced Solution Architect for HR Technology and Enterprise Architecture. The role requires hands-on design across enterprise applications, cloud, data, and security, guiding engineering teams and ensuring secure, scalable solutions for strategic HR initiatives.

The candidate should bring deep EA background, client-facing collaboration, and strong leadership to drive modern, cost-effective architectures with AI-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software design, development and enterprise architecture experience.
• 2+ years of public cloud experience (Azure or GCP).
• Experience with SaaS/PaaS platforms such as Workday, Oracle Cloud, MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC.
• SME-level expertise in application, data, integration, and security architecture.
• Strong SQL, NoSQL, and cloud database knowledge.
• Hands-on technical implementation experience.
• Experience integrating modern apps with legacy platforms (e.g., Kafka).
• Proven enterprise architecture and system design background.
• Knowledge of SSO, OAuth, SAML, and OIDC.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, container platforms, deployment patterns.
• Observability concepts and implementation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture from concept to production.
• Provide technical leadership to Tech Leads and engineering teams.
• Perform Buy vs. Build analyses with qualitative and quantitative data.
• Lead architecture reviews, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
• Identify opportunities to optimize, modernize, and simplify apps.
• Lead POCs and technology deep-dives.
• Help teams resolve complex technical and performance challenges.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost, complexity and debt.
• Design secure, scalable enterprise solutions.
• Ensure alignment with security, cloud, data, integration and EA standards.
• Collaborate with technical leads, engineers, vendors and business stakeholders.
• Experience designing AI-enabled apps integrated with LLMs and agent frameworks.

Hiring: Solution Architect - HR Technology / Enterprise Architecture

We're hiring an experienced Solution Architect with strong hands-on experience in enterprise application, integration, cloud, data, and security architecture for a strategic HR Technology initiative.

The ideal candidate will have a strong enterprise architecture background, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to provide technical direction to engineering teams while designing secure, scalable, and cost-effective enterprise solutions.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of Software Design/Development and Enterprise Architecture experience
• 2+ years of experience with Public Cloud - Azure or GCP
• Experience with SaaS/PaaS platforms such as Workday, Oracle Cloud, MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, etc.
• SME-level expertise in Application, Data, Integration, and Security Architecture

• Lead Proofs of Concept (POCs) and technology deep-dives
• Help engineering teams resolve complex technical and performance challenges
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost, complexity, and technical debt
• Design secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise solutions
• Ensure alignment with security, cloud, data, integration, and enterprise architecture standards
• Collaborate with technical leads, engineers, vendors, and business stakeholders
• Experience designing and building AI-enabled applications integrated with LLMs
• Understanding of AI application implementation patterns and Agent frameworks
• Experience or exposure to process automation tools and technologies
• Bachelor's degree, specialized training, or relevant professional qualification preferred
